1. Terms and Conditions

A Terms and Conditions agreement is also known as a Terms of Service or a Terms of Use agreement: A Terms of Service Agreement is a set of regulations which users must agree to follow in order to use a service. Terms of Use is often named Terms of Service, Terms and Conditions, or Disclaimer when addressing website usage.
The reason to have Term & Conditions: Prevent Abuses, Own Your Content, Terminate Accounts, Limit Liability, Set The Governing Law.



2. Privacy Policy

Privacy Policies are agreements where you need to specify what personal data you collect from your users. Privacy Policy agreements are mandatory because you’re collecting data that can be used to identify an individual.



3. Returns and Refunds

It’s the single most important agreement your e-commerce store needs to have as it can affect your retention rate
A Return and Refund Policy is the agreement where you inform customers about your policies regarding returns and refunds

  • It usually includes the following pieces of information:
  • How many days they have to return a product
  • How will they receive the refund (credit or replacement)
  • If you offer refunds for digital products or in-app purchases
  • Who pays for shipping to return the product
  • And so on

Numbers of days a product can be return and who pays for return shipping is specified at product creation.
